What are the best volumizing hair products?
LIke.. mousses and shampoos and conditioners. ive tried pantene pro v volumizing but that doesnt work too great. i have the paul mitchell volumizing mousse. but that just makes my hair staticky. and i just recently bought the BIGSEXYHAIR mousse. does any one know of any good products out? and another thing, how do i stop my hair from getting static? i use small amount of hair oil but eventually throughout the day it will come back. and i heard using a fabric softner sheet works. so i tried it and it does work but only for about 10 minutes hah. can anyone help? What are the best volumizing hair products?
Usually static means you need a little moisture. But to answer your other Q, Redkin bodyfull, Biolage, Big Sexy, Paul Mitchell, Alterna, those are a few that I can think of off the top of my head. I'm not the biggest fan of Paul Mitchell though. Matrix makes one called Amplify too. What are the best volumizing hair products?
I use cheap stuff Rave but i get the max stregnth which is level 4 The key is to damp your hair a little then brush it through Coat your hair in hair spray and then style it the way you want
Hi,
Horse and Mane shampoo will add a lot of volume and managability to your hair, also for static, rub some hand creme on your hands and run your fingers through your hair and static cling is gone for the day. Hope this helped you, it has for me.
try the ';honey'; yea i say it right ';honey-bee';...but it's quiet expensive uhm but not really...
Try Tigi hair products. You can find them at salons, Target, or cheapest on ebay.

What are some good volumizing hair products for straight fine hair?
I have shoulder-length straight fine hair, and haven't had much success in ';volumizing'; it with any hair products.
If you also have long straight fine hair and have found successful volumizing products, could you please let me know... Shampoos, conditioners, mousse, hair spray, whatever :)
Also, please include where the product(s) can be purchased. What are some good volumizing hair products for straight fine hair?
Try to after you washed:
Dry your hair a little bit
Then you take some gel (just a bit) and rub it on you scalp not so that it looks wet really just a half a teaspoon or so
the when you dry your hair lift the hair up at the roots (DO NOT BLOWAVE YOUR HAIR DOWN) it makes it limp.
Try to lift the hair up with your brushWhat are some good volumizing hair products for straight fine hair?
Big Sexy Hair Spray and Play hairspray. OMG, AMAZING. I also got the Blow it Up Gel stuff, not as impressed but still pretty good!
I got mine at Shopko/Target. It's a big red Can!

None of the volumizing hair products work. How do I get my hair like I want it?
I've tried TONS of hair products and different 'volumizing' shampoos and conditioners, but nothing works! Does anyone know of some sort of way to get my hair volumized and shiney?None of the volumizing hair products work. How do I get my hair like I want it?
I tried those too and they honestly don't work for me either. Remember that every time you see someone in a magazine or on TV with big sexy hairstyles it's because they have a team of hairstylists styling their hair to perfection. I would recommend teasing your hair and possibly using hot rollers because these two can make you look as if you have the big, sexy hair.None of the volumizing hair products work. How do I get my hair like I want it?
im not totally sure about shiny, but to help with the volume:
buy just a couple of large hair rollers (not heated rollers), and place one in your fringe, and 3 in the top of your head (the crown). and put a bit of hairspray and it will look quite natural, if they look really bumpy just straighten in on a low heat.. (spray a little bit of water on hair once rollers are in and it will give them more staying power..
hope i helped :)
paul mitchell thicken up - contains panthenol, which causes the hair to swell.

What is a good volumizing hair product?
Other than shampoo/conditioner. Right now I just finished up a bottle of Garnier XXL Volume mousse, and now I need something that will work to give my hair volume even without blow drying hair (I'm going to be having swimming in gym, ugh, so I need something that I can just put in and go) and preferably not a mousse. Also, it kind of needs to be cheap, under $10. Any recommendations for a product or even tips you have for getting more volume in hair would be good. My hair is straight, long-ish, and sort of thin btw. Thanks. :)What is a good volumizing hair product?
If you don't want to re-wash your hair or blow dry, a mousse is really your only option.
Got2B Fattastic Mousse works really well to add volume and shine, and is within your budget.
You can buy it at Ulta or some drug stores that sell Got2B products for only about $8 a bottle.

I have pretty thick hair but sometimes it gets really greasy or really dry. When it's greasy, it gets really flat SO what is the best volumizing hair product that doesn't make your hair greasy?

Well, if you are looking for something cheap that works, try Sunsilk Anti-Flat Weightless Volumizing Creme. It is about $3.99 at local drugstores and it works wonders. I also use the Sunsilk anti-flat shampoo and conditioner. What Is The Best Volumizing Hair Product?
Try Bed Head. They have a variety of products that work very well
What I usually do is just shake my head as hard as I can. It makes it poofier for like 2 seconds. There are no long term effects but while you are still looking in the mirror you think it still looks good. Just do it right before you leave so you think it is like that even when it is flatter than the ground..................................鈥?I dont know. I think Garnia fruitries (sp?) make some good styling products.
you should go to the hairstylist and ask them. i would suggest paul brown or connie gail hairgel and shampoo and conditioner. works all the time!

cocky by bed head. don't get anything cheap. its sold at walmart for a reason. go to your local salon. cocky has kind of a hard feel to it. so if you want the softness and thickness use superstar (the spray in or the lotion) by bed head. walmart does sell some paul itchel and bed head, but its black market. plus products bought in a salon are guaranteed, which means you can take it back for your money or for a new product, whereas walmart will not. hope this helps. feel free to email me with any other questions.

My hair is long and very poffy so i decided to get it thined and cut into layers that was a huge mistake cause it caused my hair to wave and i try to use volumizing straighteing shampoos and it does nutin for you in fact in does nuttin. so don't try them it ruins YOU.... though if u do have much patience then ur hair does look great in like 2 hoursAre volumizing hair products really bad for someone with very fine, dry hair sort of damaged??
Not unlsess you are using something that overprocesses your hair. The dryer isnt all that great for you hair, but use some great products that help protect your hair from heat if you dry a lot. My opinion is they are not so damaging for your hair.

Help! I need volumizing hair products that work!?
I have semi- curly, semi-wavy hair that is limp. I need volumizing hair products that will actually give me volume. Does anyone have any ideas?Help! I need volumizing hair products that work!?
Root lifters are great, applied at the roots and blow-dried (with your head bent over if possible). And a clear gloss/glaze adds volume to your hair, as well as pretty shine. Glaze is applied like a semi-permanent color, and like a hair color it deposits molecules on the hair shaft. You can buy better-quality ones at a good price for a large-size bottle at a beauty supply store. You'll need to purchase a bottle of developer also, and it is not expensive at all.Help! Try Pantene's Volumizing hair spray,it really does volumize your hair.
Try Aquage. It's sulfate free so it's very good for you hair and it strips color alot slower than most other shampoos. Go to there website to find where its sold near you. You could also try Kenra volumizing that works pretty good to. And it's also formulated for helping color last.

Actually volumise and volumize are both perfectly acceptable in the English language, so it's someone else that need to learn English before they start correcting others.
I recommend Avon products, they have a great volumizing foam which I like to use and a great mousse. But you really can't beat blow-drying your hair upside down to be honest! =)
I don't know any UK volumising mousses but, i think that US/Canadian herbal essences volumizing mouse works.

You don't need to use volumising hair products anyway... I don't use them and I just puff my hair up after I've blow-dried it.
I use Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Relaxing Balm - it makes my hair really smooth and shiny. It'll work really well for you with thick hair to stop it being frizzy/fly-away :)
Good luck!
they arent needed but after blow drying try using wax to enhance shine and volume.
any brand of wax with work.

Best volumizing hair products for limp, fine hair?
My hair is super fine and has no volume at the roots and throughout. What are the best products to add volume? Also, any tricks to help when blow drying etc?Best volumizing hair products for limp, fine hair?
Big sexy is an amazing product to work with. Put the spray in your hair while it is still wet. dry it upside down! then use a brush on the top layers to clean up your style.Best volumizing hair products for limp, fine hair?
Hmm, I have very fine and thin hair and I find that the best product that gives me extra oomph (without adding other products..too much products in the hair will cause it to limp and creates a greasy mess!) is Tresamme 24 hour body boosting spray.. you can view the link here: http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/Images/Ex鈥?/a>
Another product I find effective (but does not last as long as Tresammes product) is GOT2B 2 Sexy hair products. Smells good too. :)
http://pics.drugstore.com/catimg/104945/鈥?/a>
I find for the best results is when hair is 85% fully dry than apply the product and flip hair over and blowdry. If you normally part your hair to one side flip you hair over to the opposite side while drying.

Do volumizing hair products such as shampoo, spray really work? How?
Most ';Volumizing'; Products Just Remove Excess Oil And Leave Little Or No Residue- Making The Hair Look And Feel Fuller. Some Products Cause The Individual Hairs To Swell-Up Giving The Hair More Thickness. Some ';Coat'; The Hairs And Make Them Thicker And ';Stiffer';. However, The Best Products Use A Combination Of Actions To Thicken The Hair. If You Want A Lot Of Thickness, Use A Good Volume Shampoo, Follow With A Thickening Conditioner Or Treatment Then Use A ';Thickening/Volumizing'; Styler And Finish With A Good Hairspray/Finishing Spray. (P.S. Try Combining Products From Different Companies: Check The Label For The Manufacturer. Example: Aussie And Herbal Essences Are Both Made By P%26amp;G, So They Are Pretty Much the Same Products, Just Different Packages And Fragrances.)Do volumizing hair products such as shampoo, spray really work? How?
im not sure how but im pretty sure shampooing its going into ur scalp and volumising it.. and yes they do work if u get a good kindDo volumizing hair products such as shampoo, spray really work? How?
Somewhat. They are suppoed to fatten the hair shaft. If you put rollers in your hair with setting lotion, your hair will have more volume and body guaranteed.

Which volumizing hair products work best?
Shampoos, Conditioners, Gels, Mousses, Hairspray?
I've heard Big Sexy Hair, Matrix, and Redken products work well.
I have straight, fine to normal hair, but it is extremely flat.
Which products should I use?Which volumizing hair products work best?
Sunsilk volumizing shampoo is great, so you could try that. The Sunsilk Anti-flat volumizing creme is good too.
For a mousse, I use Herbal Essences Body Envy.

Like I said, in addition to the shampoo, a volumizing mousse (Sunsilk, Herbal Essences BODY ENVY, etc.) can help. Instead of applying it all through your hair, try sectioning parts of your hair and rubbing the mousse into the roots. Then, flip your head over upside down and blow dry. If you do this at night instead of the day, do it before bed and use a plastic claw-clip to clip up the top section of your hair while you sleep (put it on the TOP of you head, not the back).
If you need to reactivate your product in the evening because your hair went flat during the day, try rubbing some water into the roots where the mousse was, and then blow-drying a little more.
As for teasing, have you tried sectioning it off and teasing the underside so that the top stays smooth? You could try doing that, but spraying it with hairspray after you tease it, flipping your hair over (head upside down) and then letting it dry. It's drastic, but it may work.
My hair is naturally thick and relatively voluminous on its own, but these tips help for special occasions when I really want bigger hair.
You may already try this, but if not, it might help. I don't know.
All of these products can be purchases from Walmart for anything from $2-6.

Volumizing hair products?
What hair products work best to add volume to fine hair? Also something that would make curl stay from hot rollers? Thanks!
On a budget by the way!Volumizing hair products?
- Use a volumising shampoo/conditioner! Bedhead Superstar (big pink bottle) http://www.tigihaircare.com/consumer/en-鈥?/a> is the best for giving a noticeable difference in volume, then Redken Body Full. Bedhead comes in a HUGE bottle and sometimes it's packaged together with the conditioner for cheaper, but overall it's still very expensive.
- Add a volumising product before you blowdry!. I use Tresemme Thermal Creations mousse (cheap and effective), but I've also tried Bedhead Cocky thickening paste, BigSexyHair blowdry volumising gel and Tigi Catwalk Root Boost. For the mousse, massage it thoroughly into your roots - you need more than you think.
- Blowdry upside down, concentrating on lifting the roots. Use a concentrator nozzle if you have one, and a cold shot to set the hair. Alternatively you can use a metal barrel brush. Take a decent strand of hair, running the barrel brush beneath it and blowdryer with the concentrator over it at the same time - ie, move the blowdryer WITH the brush, lifting your hair upwards as you go. I hope you understood that. ^^;
* If you're blowdrying with the mousse, blowdry it upside down, then keep your head like that for around 20 seconds to let the mousse set. Or you can pull your hair into a ponytail on the top of your head (think shallot) and wait 20 seconds.
- Use a medium hold hairspray on all layers at the roots to keep the volume up. I use Tresemme (again, it's cheap and good) but any is fine.Volumizing hair products?
